It ties in with DR's special branding for live coverage, launched earlier this year. But I'm not sure I like it overall - it somehow makes TV Avisen feel like a cheap imitation of itself! The theme is quite busy, while the graphics are almost too plain.

Japan's JNN News has a new look and is based of TBS' "From TBS" branding last year:

The opener and closers in order are the Weekday 11:30 am edition, weekend morning and afternoon editions and news update.

The JNN main logo is now partially retired and is now appearing as a bottom right watermark.

What if you have a news update that lasts under a minute and a very closed up shot of a presenter? This happens only in Japan and the newscast is called Shot Gun. It aired in the late 1980s on Fuji TV and has at least four editions a day.
