Hi everyone! Basically what I am looking for is a program like Windows Sound Recorder but one that will record audio as I am playing it in Windows Media or Real or Quicktime, without a microphone. If you know what I mean! =) Well I'm sure one of u clever people will be able to help me! Thanks everyone =) Tom

Thanks I'm not entirely sure it's going to work but thanks anyway. If anyone has any other ideas please keep them cuming! =)

It's perfect, just set your recording device in the sound options (speak icon, bottom right) and set it to "stereo in" or "what "u" hear" and it'll record whatever sound the PC is playing.

I think you mean tick the stereo mix box.

Hi, I need to do the same, thing, but i've got a microphone plugged in but i want to record it without the microphone if ya get what i mean, but i dnt understand how to do it. Help Please :S

Uncheck either "Mic In" or "Line In", dependant on which you plugged your mic into.
