Are they literally considering a Vet Series as local broadcasting? Are their adverts charity ads? Rubbish.

That was a documentary about Hitler last night and as far as I could see there was no link to London whatsoever. At least in the past their old series have been bought in to have some sort of relevance to the city but perhaps they've simply run out of London-themed stuff to buy!

Maybe the bit about the blitz was edited out for timing reasons..

.. Or the work experience kid doing the editing on the office Apple Mac thought that it was all rather irrelevant.

I seem to remember their friends at Ofcom allowed them to reduce the London themed programme requirement by 18% as part of their last change to Licence back in 2016. According to London Live - 'not a significant reduction', but then they didn't think the 35% reduction to news and current affairs output was significant either and Ofcom agreed!

As for work experience doing the editing - this might be so - but according to their latest accounts they still employ more than 60 staff and pay them pretty well too.

An “ongoing incident” seems to be happening across the road from London Live’s HQ. Sky News are showing a video provided by them. Are they covering this themselves?

Sky News have gone to a recorded programme Rolling Eyes , BBC News just picking it up now.

Oh, in typical London Live fashion they’re showing a documentary about Hitler instead.

What a waste.

Local TV covering news, who came up with such a far fetched idea?

This was the perfect local story for them to cover. Of no real national importance but, significant for London and literally right on their doorstep. Geez.

But not on their own channel.
