Maxine Mawhinney should so be moved to prime time BBC News broadcasting on BBC One, after all who broke the news at the start of the American bombing in Afghanistan to BBC One viewers in a news special!

Yes, it was Maxine! True professional.

I dont know if anyone noticed this on Breakfast this morning, but during the 7.00 headlines the news 24 background behind moira failed and went to green. Then on my television a white lined clear box started flying round the screen finally fixing on the green part of the picture, and it returned to News 24 background. Did anyone else notice this, or am I just dreaming.

I saw that - it was after the camera was moved and so the background needed moving to the right place.
