BBC Choice periodically changes the music on its idents presumably to keep the channel fresh and new. They changed the colour of the idents for no logical explaination...

I thought they did this as a seasonal change.

Well in the four months I've had digital this is now the third peace of music they've used (Jakatta - not a bad track actually!) so that part does change very often - I guess to fit with the 'trendy' image of the channel.
But then, Choice do seem to have a history of changing and doing things just for the hell of it - thank god BBC THREE is due soon (although not soon enough) we might finally get someone in charge who takes some pride in the channel and give it a decent image - at the moment it's got a kind of tackyness to it (for god's sakes remove your sodding website address from the DOG - I know it ANYWAY!!!) and oddly enough doesn't really feel like a BBC channel...

BBC Choice's controller Stuart Murphy is set to become controller of BBC Three - so I'm afraid all that means is more DOGs and yet more Robot Wars.
