Debate Night is filmed where I work and I’m actually part of the technicians team so the lecture theatre is one of mine, albeit a different campus to mine.
I’m arranging a tour through my manager who already sat in the truck one week, so if it’s a yes I’ll take lots of photos for everyone if they let me.
Fair to say that the Nine is pretty good. Not sure about Seven Days, which seems to pad out the fact they have studio time from 7-8pm on a Saturday.
WonderBall has me scratching my head to what the hell it's all about, I'd agree that it deserves a punt on daytime BBC1. I suspect it'll get some form of repeat run on BBC One Scotland at some point.
I'm not sure what the point of having The Edit on is? Is it just to pad out 15 minutes on a Wednesday night and does it really need two presenters? Amy Irons seems capable enough to present solo with David Farrell out and about as he did a few weeks back when he did lives from the States.
The piece on Kirsty Wark's commute on Inside Central Station was good tonight. For a Newsnight presenter; she has put in a lot of great effort to get the train every time she gets in for work via Central Station to London. Do a lot of BBC staff carry out a similar routine travelling by train when working in the major hubs like London or Salford?

I work at MediaCity and just before 9am there's always a large swathe of BBC staff making their way from the Met station over to Quay House.
I really hope this is just an error in the listings, but wouldn't be surprised if it was actually correct.
Tomorrow, BBC 2 is showing The Chronicles of Nadiya from 11:30am-12:30pm, and BBC Scotland is only showing the 2nd half, from 12:00pm-12:30pm.
If this is correct, this seems ridiculous, and is another example of why BBC Scotland should be allowed more flexibility in its schedule between 12pm and 7pm, and should be allowed to opt-out in situations like this.

What are your thoughts about the channel? We are more than 1 month in now... do you like the programming? Do you like the idents, the on screen menus and announcers?
It's a good channel. Although, I don't flick to it very often.
I flicked to it yesterday to get info on the Notre Dame news.
It's one of those channels that if you're channel surfing and happen to come across something you'll stick with it.
I'm confused with the This Is BBC Scotland part. Why not just show BBC Two until startup?
I thought there wasn't going to be any programming on BBC Scotland during the afternoon other than BBC2 simulcasts, but they seem to have put out Politics Scotland today.
Unfortunately too late to take Nicola Sturgeon's speech, which wasn't taken by the News Channel who were busy covering other matters. Which seems to have caused outrage (faux or otherwise) in certain quarters.

No that's why it comes on air at noon, so it can show the same Scottish programmes that BBC2 Scotland used to show in the afternoons such as politics and sport. If it was just a simulcast there'd be no point.
