Going on from Thursday’s rough continuity, yesterday was much better and back on form.

Apologies if it has already been discussed, does anyone know whats happened to the third series of Saturday Mash Up, I heard that it got pushed back from the Autumn to the New Year but haven't heard anything since. I know the two main presenters have moved on.

Edit: I've just read page 66 of this thread, I guess we don't know any more as of yet then.

Just watched this week's 'Max and Harvey FOMO' to see how they've handled the Buzz app issue, they've used it extensively on the programme for feedback. It seems that the way forward at least in the short term is to use the CBBC part of the BBC Website to communicate with programme makers. It was notable that the one contribution from the App failed to use the video from the call just the audio this week. I'm wondering whether it's closure might be at least partially related to child protection issues surrounding it, I'm not aware of it's operational requirements but there could perhaps have been cases where contributions have been made without parental or guardian knowledge.

Expecting it in late February at this point. On their Instagram, CBBC posted a ‘Days until new...’ and The Worst Witch and Saturday Mash-Up were as coming soon. Worst Witch is starting at the end of the month, but no word on Mash-Up. It is definitely happening I think.

Jamie Wilson the producer of mash up was working on crackerjacks end of last year. So I think Mash Up was pushed back because of that. I’m also not sure the hosts left by choice. I think the show is going in a bit of a new direction and obviously needed more pre-production. On the Summer Mash Up they said they would be back in January but nothing so far.

Can’t see anything on their Instagram to confirm that.

I don’t think the new series will begin until the current run of ‘The Dengineers’ finishes, which I believe finishes on 29th February. That would mean that Mash-Up would start on 7th March at the earliest.

Look at the Instagram story, not on the posts.

Answers on a postcard...

I think it's Joe Tasker and possibly Lauren Layfield?
