Was anybody else watching and thought to themselves... that backdrop's good, but not quite right? The clouds (or indeed everything) was motionless (that I could tell), the Oxo tower had the wrong perspective in certain shots, there were ripples to the left of Kaye... I think it was a (very good) fake backdop!
Yeah, I thought it looked a bit fake too. However, I heard on one website that 2 days out of 5 the show is pre-recorded (earlier in the morning) with fake texts and everything, as they went to one show recording. Dunno how true this is, but it may explain the fake backdrop
And (strangely) my eye was also drawn to the oxo building - but I wouldn't have said its perspective was unusual. Its just quite distinctive - and it was right behind that loud mouth woman - wasn't it?
It must just be a still day over London - as odd as it looked I can't beleive that was anything other than the real thing.

It was definately fake in my opinion, it was just too clear and perfect, and it seemed to be at a different angle to the normal window.
They're still at the London studios because they did that bit on the veranda outside at the start, but maybe they're using a different studio ? Or as somebody said, it was a pre-recorded one done after dark, but surely when they do that they film them straight after a live one in the afternoon.
Em I'm confused. Why would they want to use a fake backdrop when the actual backdrop is a window with the same view?
If the programme is recorded, the view would look a bit different! That's the problem with a live window if you're pre-recording an as-live programme. Assuming it WAS pre-recorded. And had a fake background.
