With a bit of luck he went out in the rain and his papier mache head fell apart.

I never really did understand him when he appeared on Motormouth.

I think that proves the rain theory wrong then! Smile

Ah, he must have painted his head with PVA glue like we did with those fruit bowls in P4. Makes them waterproof (and mouldy banana proof) you see.

That will be a Neil Buchannan "art attack" tip.

Speaking of that show, i'm always amazed as to when neil goes to draw something, you only ever see it from above, it's as if someone else does the stuff for him and he pretends it's his.

Frank's rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody still has to be heard to be believed.

Every bit as good as the original!

Frank was top. I started listening to him on Piccadilly Radio (as it was then) around 1987 ish? Maybe a bit earlier. He had a TV series of his own show; the Fantastic Shed Show or something like that, only ran for 1 series. I think I have most of them on tape somewhere (sad)!! He was also on "Remote Control", a rather naff teatime quiz on Channel 4 hosted by Anthony H Wilson.

Managed to pick up his "Best Of" CD a couple of years back for a fiver in the Traffic Centre. To cram the most amount of music on possible, the last few tracks have one song in the left channel and a different song in the right channel! Classic.

Not heard from him for a few years now though. There's a dissapointingly small amount of material dedicated to Frank and his puppets on the web too.

I'm not saying he does have someone else do them tho Smile I think he does, but it could be just how the cameras are switched

Neil is a genius - I loved it when he was on SMTV and they were doing a spoof called f'art attack, he joined in and everything!

I remember some of the hilarious shows when he appeared with Mark and Lard on the old Radio 5 - "Hit The North" on a Wednesday evening. Still got some of them shows on good old fashioned audio cassette! The Timperley Top Ten was legendary!! Laughing

And he also appeared on the James Whale Radio Show which was simlcast on ITV and Radio Aire.
I remember him appearing on the show along with Bernard Manning once.

Yup, had to be seen with your own eyes to believe it was happening.
