Just been browsing through the schedules on Digiguide and found that ITV2 are now showing Nightscreen to fill any gap in their late night schedule around the Teleshopping programmes and American talk shows ... Interesting! Sort of like a throwback to the old days when BBC1 and 2 used to show Ceefax at the same time...

I expect so, but probably with different music like ITV1 has in some regions depending on which group your region belongs to...

Don't you remember ITV nightscreen? It was a PowerPoint presentation with simple info of forthcoming programmes.

A typical Dog misunderstanding Rolling Eyes

Of course he knows what Nightscreen is/was...

He was making the point that ITV1 and ITV2 showing Nightscreen at the same time is like BBC1 and BBC2 showing Ceefax simultaneously in years gone by. Rolling Eyes

Well if you remember, ITV Nightscreen in its original days was very Ceefax-esque with all the computer graphics etc... but it was also like 4-Tel on view (Channel 4's old teletext service) with the little men appearing every so often...

Yes, I have also noticed this aswell. It sometimes clashes with the ITV1 coverage, so it must be a filler for ITV2 (as mentioned earlier in this thread!) It is much better than it used to be many years ago.... ! (Graphics wise!)
