Ive just been watching ITV2 and some programme about the worst X-Factor entries etc and was surprised to find an ITV1-type ITV2 ident!
It followed a similar vein to the current ITV1 idents used at 19:00 promoting a few programmes on in the next few hours. The announcer woman spoke between each clip and then the yellow and blue squares flew around the screen and then formed to make the ITV2 logo as per the stacked ITV1 logo.
Which leads me onto the question whether ITV2 (and 3) will have any festive idents this year? Didnt ITV2 adopt some items from the ITV1 presentation last year and stuck them on the last set of idents? (or was that a few years ago now?)
ALSO
ITV2 seemed to be having major problems with the X-Factor programme today with loads of little squares throughout the first half-hour. It was like DTT signal breakup but more precise. The programme jumped, the ITV2 dog disappeared and then everything seemed fine!
Maybe some snow has got into the systems at ITV2 headquarters!?
