For anyone who has ever wondered why you use "TV Sofa's" for television, I present this use of normal office furniture

The background changes, but not as you'd expect, which makes it seem weird. The close up's have no relation to the wide angle background, meaning things like the tall building appear in both close ups.
I've been recording tonight, so once the videos stop processing and I can get them uploaded you'll be able to see for yourselves.
Is that a real window? Or a large photograph? I'm guessing the latter. That man on the end looks a bit like DVB Cornwall and that coffee table is the same or similar to one that Notts TV use.

I genuinely cannot wait. It looks utterly woeful.

So, here's the start of the 7PM hour. This is the flagship daily discussion show.

No editing involved here. There's more of this, but I couldn't face wasting the bandwidth.
I've got the 6PM hour processing now.

Wow that news bulletin is woeful. No video or any reports of any kind. She may as well be reading out of the Sheffield Star. Then they cut her off before the end.
Surely there needs to be at least some kind of quality threshold that should be met when handing out these licences ?

There are videos to accompany some of the stories, as you'll see shortly. Along with a sample of their longer programmes which went out between the headlines at 6 and the headlines at 6.30 (warning, contains cosplayers). And one of their filler pieces which seems to consist entirely of microphones feeding back.
Being randomly cut off seems to be a running feature of the channel.

Ouch.
A script not written for speech, reading a quote from a police officer rather picking out a key couple of spearhead words he said, too much repetition of certain words in the same story, no emphasis to convey the story properly. I could go on.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not having a dig at her - but surely there's a basic standard that needs to be adhered to? Even novices should be up to speed with the basic rules of broadcast journalism.
You have to ask yourself if the people writing or constructing a bulletin like that have actually seen one presented on TV before? That's a pretty decent starting point.
When I first watched that clip, it reminded me of the opening clip from this BBC College of Journalism training piece: http://youtu.be/JHT2R4e4-Po
