Hi All,

Does anyone know when Meridian will be changing their idents, to the generic ITV1 idents?

Hello .......

on Friday 1st february last week i was Watching Meridian
Tonight and they said they are Changing there studio
Look from February 4th 2002 , they might change the Idents
Tomorrow Hopefulie.

I doubt very much new idents tomorrow, but Meridian Tonight Southampton is definatley getting a new look:

Who says they are going to change tjem, apart from that hoaxer at Christmas. I`d be very surprised if this actually did happen

New studio tommorow (Southampton) I'm not sure if it will start from 6.40am or if they will delay it till 6.00pm. Apparently the new set is virtually Identical to Maidstone, but they had to finish bits and pieces today. As for Idents, I think ITV are going to try and improve the programmes before the idents, and I don't think they will completly loose the regional names, they would get too many complaints.
