Just watched a bit of The Talk in America where Sharon Osborne's co hosts were calling Pier's behaviour racist in a matter of fact way. I thought the whole Meghan thing was because she blanked him? It's hard to keep up with the Twitter mob sometimes. I do wonder how far all this noise moves us further forward. Is there anything solid in there, or is it more for people to act the big I am on social media while Boris and co laugh their heads off at a perfect example of divide and rule? Time will tell, but I have my doubts the Twitter army have the same power as the civil rights movements of the past. Today's arguments seem to be more about calling people out and not much substance. Hopefully I'm wrong and in a few years we have a completely equal society where anyone can have a good education and job and women can go out alone at night without being murdered.

Andrew Neil confirmed this morning on This Morning that GB News are after Piers. He said Piers would be an asset to the channel and that they would use him in a different way to GMB.

I think they would have been after him even if he hadn’t have left GMB.

Yes, it's very likely now that's where he will end up.

Sort of confirming what I've always suspected, that the gallery team struggled to have Things under control when Piers was on.

Make the tea..
Operate the autocue..
Sweep the floors..
Desantize the buttons in the lifts..

Plenty of other uses..

That points to Andrew Neil not wanting the channel to be hours of ranting from presenters about the days news.

Not only that they called Pier racist, but Sharon was labeled racist as well for supporting him, on Twitter and in a silly, indirect way by her co-host as well. Sharon asked the co-host to tell her exactly what racist things Piers said and she couldn't do it. Sharon was almost crying at that point, there's a video on Twitter. Now many are asking for Sharon to be fired and canceled. Shocked

The amount of drama Piers caused in the USA as well is bizarre. Zipper

There was also a lot of controversy when he was let go from CNN the year before he joined ITV. His views on guns in the US were criticised.
