TOTP have a policy that forces groups to perform live do they not?

Tonight with Jools Holland does, but TOTP allows miming.

I've always wondered what the hell the point is, when bands that are so obviously miming wear those earpiece/microphone headsets?!

I predict that S Club 7 will disappear this year. All of these bands have a very limited shelf life before somebody goes off on a strop and the whole thing collapses. ie. Spice Girls, Take That, Steps.

Let's hope this latest release is the last of the dreadful S Club 7.

The other reason why some pop groups mime is that it is very difficult to sing while doing extravagant dance routines.

I saw the S Club 7 performance today and the question that stuck in my mind was - who was that fat blonde guy in the back row?

I agree, they could at least get their lips in time with the tune if they are going to wear them.
