He's the co-director of Easy Home & Garden TV Limited with Peter McDermott, and has been since November 2013. They've been broadcasting as Home & Garden Plus on 642 since March.

Yes the internet has killed telly shopping by eroding their confidence with the immediate comparability.. in a way the likes of Amazon have brought about their own price assurance through Amazon marketplace.

Surely Bid was a little more complex than that, it rose above the competition by being a live and dynamic performance. An essential component of the auction style. As a result it had to be down-market, and was thus kulled by the recession and the appearance of two dozen pound shops on every high street.

It wasn't much a 'chat' with Mark Ryes. All she asked him was if he was aware of what was happening with the company and how bad the company was and he used the remaining time to give himself a quick promotion for future work.
