New presentation has been launched already - new idents were being aired on Sky Sports 3 this afternoon at least - I presume they have been airing since 6:00am. There's also a new trailer style, the red and blue being replaced by white. The good news for those interested is that the channel numbers are back in the idents.
Yes they've been airing on all channels - including News - since this morning. They feature slow motion shots with the logo slowly fading in, but it is sometimes obscured behind the action, rather like the old ITV1 idents and as seen on recent advertising hoardings. The Sports 5 ident shown at 6pm has the logo heavily obscured - I wonder if they'll end up making it more visible down the line.
Also if you're interested, no tagline on the idents this year.
Ident just now was pretty impressive - shot was of Spurs players in a huddle and as they move away the SSN HQ logo emerged.
No changes to the Soccer Special studio.
I think they're a much better execution and evolution of the previous idents. My favourite before these were the glass-shattering ones but I'm really appreciating the subtlety of these.
Thanks for the info rdd and VMPhil. That's good news - the last batch of idents were terrible. Was hoping the style seen here in promotional images would make it to the idents. http://p2.s10i.com/hp/image/53ccda30e4b069ad054fc683.jpg Similar enough to the Sky Living idents. Will have to check Sky Sports F1 to see if anything has changed. Luckily in Ireland the F1 channel is available to all HD subscribers. Will be able to record new look 1-5 presentation on Saturday during the free day for my site.
Thanks for the screenshot Johnnie. YouTube's King of TV Sat has now uploaded the ident.

Sky Sports F1 has also launched a new ident in the same style as Sky Sports 5. The ident is also used as a break bumper during coverage. I would imagine the 1-5 channels will have more than 1 ident each.
