Does anyone know what band it is that plays the theme music to the BBC comedy Bottom and what the tune is called?

Are you talking about the music on the opening titles or the music on the closing titles? Remember there is that slow music at the beginning when it starts, and that wacky cool music at the end where Richie and Eddie are beating the sh*t out of each other at the end (in black and white etc).

Well, I wouldn't mind knowing them both, but I did mean the closing title music. Anyone got any ideas?

The Bum Notes, isn't it? At least I think that's what it said on the credits...

Yes, thanks for the help. I managed to find both the start and end theme tunes on audiogalaxy. I just had to search for 'bum notes'. Thanks again.

Yeah, the Bum Notes. Weird thing is, I'm sure very recently I saw the name on the credits of a different show. Can't remember what it was, pretty sure it was a comedy, I'll keep my eyes open for it again. Never seen them used outside Bottom before, so I was pretty surprised.

I've got both start and end music for 'Bottom@. They're on a TV themes compilation CD called 'The Best of British Television' (from Music Club International, available at HMV/Virgin) - the opening (sax) piece is called 'BB's Blues' (after BB King) and the closing piece is called 'Last Night'.
