Hello,

Sorry for this short question: are these new episodes of 'Waking the Dead' on BBC 1 or are they rebroadcasted ones?

And a very short answer, Sir.

New.

Trev didn't have the facial hair in the previous ones.

Oeh, you called me 'Sir'! Very Happy I like that, boy! Razz

But er... back to the subject: why do they broadcast new series in the summer months? Isn't that expensive and a waste of money as a lot of people are on holiday or spending their time outdoors?

7.4 million on both days beating ITV dramas- probably the highest rating BBC "crime doubles" drama for a year. So not that bad a ploy really.

Strange, because over here no one watches TV in summer unless it for sports (like the Tour de France or Olympic Games which are coming up). Definitely not for drama or new series of something.
