The intro for "Notícies 33", a newscast on Catalan channel 33 (sister channel to TV3), in 1998:

An other channel 33, this time in Israel, fully relaunched on August 1st.

Its name is MAKAN, and is an Arabic-speaking sister channel to the Hebrew-speaking KAN 11. It replaced IBA's channel 33 just like KAN 11 replaced IBA's channel 1.

And here is how a newscast looks like. The look is the same as on KAN 11 (therefore, in my opinion, it looks and sounds just as good).

As part of the celebrations of SIC's 25th anniversary, their 1pm newscast, Primeiro Jornal , is going on tour across Portugal, visiting all 18 district capitals in the country, every Friday.

The tour started in June and will end in October. The first stop was Porto, presented by Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho, one of the presenters of SIC's main evening newscast, Jornal da Noite , and a Porto native.


On July 7, just look at how Bento Rodrigues, the regular presenter of the bulletin, kicked off Primeiro Jornal 's visit to Aveiro:


And on July 28, the bulletin went to Faro, in the Algarve:

Never seen that before. And I even didn't know ARD aktuell news used the theme as early as 2003, I thought it was late 2000s/early 2010s.
