Well, I am disappointed by the lack of VR. The titles are still those flat ribbons taking almost half of the screen.

As for the intro, the logo is visually as disappointing as it used to be. I'm sad that they didn't take advantage of the new set to provide something new visually.

At least the music is cool. But as usual with France 2, the job is half-done.

In French-speaking Canada, new intro for Le Téléjournal. Here's a few seconds of the intro of the midday edition. More elements will be published in a few hours (or days) on video sharing websites probably.

Not sure the robotic desk segments add anything really. Just comes across as way too gimmicky. It wouldn't surprise me if that starts annoying viewers before too long.

Music is good, graphics are okay, but overall, I'm not impressed by the look, and feel somewhat unbderwhelmed by everything.

An overnight edition of Heute from February 1996 but it's from the greenscreen studio and it takes place a few years after ZDF goes 24 hours:

So you can see CityNews Edmonton is following the scattter-presented format created by CityNews Toronto. Also the lack of music and such. Its certainly not as slick as the Toronto broadcast which is very surprising. The studio segment was kinda a surprise as it wasnt "dressed" in City logos. It will take to time to work out the kinks certianly. But im liking the no BS format in some ways. But Canada is a cold so presenting a good portion from the field must be rough on the reporters in the field.

The beeps you can hear in the "Six Minutes" intros are Morse code for "M6".

Forget the technical fault, that desk that separates is very smart. Very Happy

And here is how the revamped Telefe news operation looks like:

Buen Telefe (each weekday, the name reflects the day of the week - for example: on Mondays, the show is called " Buen Lunes, Buen Telefe " - "Good Monday, Good Telefe", on Tuesdays it's " Buen Martes, Buen Telefe ", and so on):

The opening theme is a remixed version of the Baires Directo theme, here is how it looked - and sounded - like - preceded by the also-defunct weather and traffic bulletin, Baires en 10 :
