Haha! It’s almost as if that was Strictly Come Dancing Very Happy . The lights, the cues and music were all on point, and matched with the set very well.

If only they had put Amanda and Jason at the start.

And to prove once again that Comic Relief and Children in Need are now indistinguishable, they’re now doing a tie in with Strictly.

Jason Manford one of the best comedians and presenters around. Only just turned over after The Circle but can already see there is an energy there that wasn't earlier.

What was the interference earlier with Amanda Holden's microphone?

This Ronnie O'Sullivan feature should really lead to a revival of Big Break with Jason Manford presenting.

This post news bit works for me, Amanda & Jason are great presenters. The 'competition phone in' is great, donating to win a car etc. Yeah it's all a bit Children in need, but we're in a pandemic duck!

This prizeathon definitely feels much more like the first 3 hours should have been.

Here's a reminder of how the night used to be: one-off comedy presented by the biggest comedians of the day.

Just a shame they didn't extend this to go through at least another half hour - you'd have thought after Bank Balance flopped they'd have done anything rather than aired.

They could've repeated Roman Kemp's mental health documentary and maintained the same level of comedic output of the main show.

Yes Jason and Amanda’s presenting hit a better note than the main programme did, although they did have the benefit of not having to link in and out of appeal films, which would limit the comedy potential for even the best comedian.
