Roger Johnson and Peter Henley on N24

Just on N24 right now we had Peter Henley doing a live report from Basingstoke and then the best bit, Roger Johnson does the sports round-up!
Does this mean he has left South Today, and if yes who has replaced him?
In any case N24 had a bit of a Southern feel to it for a while

News 24 will have access to most of the reporters working in the regions for the BBC One Election programme - hence the regional presenters appearing.

As for Roger doing N24 sport - he's done a few shifts. I suspect there are quite a lot of N24 regulars on their way to Portugal and then Athens, so they need some relief presenters - and good regional presenters (Roger won regional Sports Presenter at the Ruby's I think?) as well as popular freelances are likely to appear in the studio I guess?

Yay! Missed the Basingstoke bit, anyone got screenshots? That's the first time I've seen Roger on N24, and I thought he was smashing!

He was good I think in a few years you may see him back on N24

I haven't seen Roger on South Today for a while but it's only getting back to normal after the Normandy coverage anyway I suppose. I hope Roger hasn't left, as pleased as I am to see him on N24. I remember when he presented that programme on BBC1 last year as Southampton made it to the FA Cup Final.
It also seems both Alina and Mike are away as it is national presenters who are doing the weather on South Today at the moment.
