Also, Every time I flick through the channels on a Sunday evening to find Diane Louise Jordan on Songs Of Praise. I always feel like its 1993 and I'm watching BP!
Are more presenters due? The new titles end with six people coming together, one of whom is in a wheelchair....anyone reckon Ade from XChange/BBC1 ident is joining the show?
No. They're just kids helping to "launch the Blue Peter ship".
It's an interesting few months in BP Titleland - it's clear there *is* space for more presenter titlecards if they're needed, it's just whether they use them or not, I think they now have the option unlike the last set where they just had to speed the presenter shots up if they wanted to expand.
Remember Liz is going off to have a baby soon, which means that with BP being on 5 days, there will probably be a temporary replacement who could go full time, or just a new presenter altogether, which can be easily slotted into the titles, even if the dogs aren't removed, there's a shot of silhouettes that can be replaced.
3 presenters for a show that's on 5 days a week isn't really going to work, especially as on some days one or two of them could be off filming features. I'm guessing we'll see something happen after the expedition films have run out.

Back in the nineties quite often the new presenter would arrive a few months before the person they were replacing quit in the days when they usually had three permanent presenters.
Sorry to drag this thread a few pages up the way. But a couple of things from today.
Did anyone see their little featurette on Y-Fronts. I don't know what they had stuck in the behind but it seems that it looked like they had a brick in the backside, maybe it was to stop showing the bum cheeks off to the world!
Also, apparently on Friday's show, is the Make Yourself version of Tracey Island. Yep, after 13 years since Anthea Turner made the original. It's back on the telly and who says new ideas are hard to find!

Don't worry, I remember it well. It was one of the crazes of the year. Everybody wanted a crappy Tracey Island model. Blue Peter naturally span out into a Christmas programme as well featuring how to make it in one long edition as I think originally the model was made over so many editions and also had a look at viewer's versions.
I've still got my 'Tracey Island' that I made during the Anthea Turner era somewhere in the loft. I assume the Thunderbirds film must be coming out on DVD or similar.
