This is, I think, the Meridian ident from 1997. I am pretty sure it is available for download from TV Home and TV Ark.

A bigger question is when was this ident used...

It was enclosed on a tape Meridian sent me, full of clean idents. I've asked around and it was apparently never seen on air. Does anyone recognise it? BTW: It isn't the night-time ident.

It's the 1996 soft ident.

The other one was a non-used night time ident or a non-used ident designed but not liked. Weekends. What do Meridian say.

C@t did the tape meridian sent include TVS idents? How much?

The Meridian 1993 first sun logo was used up until 1996 I think. Then the one above was used untill 1999.

I suggest you get in touch with Meridian and ask. I have a contact and I will be getting a TVS Ident tape fingers crossed. It's going to cost, but not too much. I'm not sure if every TV Station does this.

Well, I sent an e-mail to Granada asking for a tape of theirs. And the charge they came back with - �250 (inc. VAT) is just FAR too much to pay for a tape of idents. They wouldn't even give me a list of what was on there and what wasn't. I certainly wasn't going to even consider paying that sort of money if I just got a tape through the post with stuff on I'd already got.
