It is named as 03 Closing Vamp in my set. Theres also a headline bed with one thunderclap and then one with two.

I love the music used. It is my favourite. Really wonderful and nice touch.

This was the bed that closed national bulletins. The vamp with the one thunderclap is very similar but has no pips.
But cheers for this vamp Daniel! Don't suppose you have the actual closing or the 'in brief' bed which is still used now?

The naming convention used really gets me confused. That "03" looks like a track number, like it was ripped off a CD.
Knowing that I'm trying to sort out my collection into what BBC News Channel, World News and National News uses, I believe someone should make a table.

Noted on the news special clip, there is an added extra drum at the end I think.

I don't have any full packages, I just reference clips found on YouTube about what tracks are used and for what segments!
I noticed that when I got SomeVeryRandomStuff's package of his BBC News theme, he segmented that tracks to World, News Channel and National News. Some of the vamps were exactly the same over the different groups.
I only have the NC and National package, I'd happily make a table if I had all three.

And the headline bed which I dislike is still on BBC WN. They should make it like what vamp the National/NC uses now.
James (Jimmyson07), I think some vamps are the same because the 2008 package (National, NC & WN) all have the same variation of the theme, only with minor differences on stings and vamps. (I only think of that although I don't have that package!)
