Do ITV still own all those films which Central, Carlton and other brought up over the years?
I imagine the archive is still pretty intact. I think it comes under ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
Does it still make money? Did any other ITV company own films? like Anglia? Yorkshire? Granada?

Granada did the Granada Films unit which produced films such as My Left Foot - also Granada, itself, came from the cinema chain empire which ther Bernsteins used to own.

Don't Channel 4 still do the same with Hollyoaks on E4?
I wouldn't know, I thought they only did that for some episodes. It feels as though Hollyoaks should be on E4 permanently these days, like Neighbours moved in Australia from Ten to 11, as though it's Channel 4's shop window for E4. Of course, I know they won't.
To be fair C4 ought to really look at either the C4 schedule or E4 schedule properly (especially if they could get E4 higher up the EPG's) as with some of their recent buys they could easily garner viewers from other channels with a mix of Hollyoaks last 90210 season, SHEILD, Tomorrow People and a couple of their recent daytime gameshows - they could wipe other channels in the early evenings - especially against ITV & BBC News shows.
What I don't completely understand is the First Look episode they show at 6.30 on 5* after the main showing on Channel 5. Surely everyone who wants to follow the show is going to end up watching it on 5* if they don't mind it being in SD, which most people don't.
Why break up the audience like that?

There is a lot of programmes Central has made over the years, many it seems people have forgotten about. Just to check is there anything else anyone can remember About Central? bar the two film studio for kids and partnership with gameshow company?
Also What would have happened if ITA said to ACC, you don't have to sell off any shares in renamed company? Would ITC have continued making big budget show for the UK and USA? would there have retained Central? would one Robert Holmes à Court never go after ACC?

Granada Films was also responsible for The Queen (2006). Granada and Miramax had a financing and distribution deal for years but it soured a few years back when Miramax sued Granada over some form of breach.
