Anyway I suspect they'll probably go for YouTubers who look like One Direction members for the male contingent at least.

I'm glad they didn't go insane and try that idea. Then again, I didn't think they would.

When Brighton was mentioned, I was sure it was going to be Marcus Butler & Alfie Deyes.

The idea of plucking generic vloggers with high subscriber counts from YouTube and launching them into TV always seemed like a stupid idea to me. If you're going to scout for talent from YouTube, you're going to pick people with specific talents and utilise them in something that requires that talent.

CBBC advertised on BBC One before the One Show, a new saturday morning show.

EDIT: must be a strand name as programmes are individually listed on the cbbc tv guide.

"Saturday Shout Out" live from 9am.

I suspect this will be just linking programmes as scheduled on the EPG.

Is it recorded?

Is it recorded?

I don't know, did you set your Sky+ box?

Joking aside, if it seemed like there was no reason for it to be live it probably would have been pre-recorded.

It was obviously recorded, I only watched the first link but there were some very obvious edits and the subtitles were prepared subtitles rather than live style subtitles.

Was it actually in Brighton or was it just set in Brighton? Not that it actually matters as their flat didn't seem to have any windows and I don't think they went outside at all. Me being from Brighton and being slightly outside of CITV's demographic, the location was the only bit that interested me and the reason I recorded it in the first place.

Anyway, it was nice to see a young Iain Lee and a young Claudia Winkleman presenting. I haven't seen them for years. Made by Foundation Television. Didn't they do Endurance[UK] for Challenge[TV]?
