I've still got them on the EPG on my Sky HD box. They're just showing silent SMPTE bars though.

I'm not calling you a liar or anything like that, but could you post a picture that clearly shows the mini EPG with the channel number on it and todays date?

I miss Bid TV and Price-Drop TV. However, I don't miss their latest (and final) format. They probably didn't have enough money to keep things running smoothly. Seeing the channels being removed from the EPG makes me realise that they're not coming back. I loved those two channels because of the warm atmosphere, which was sadly lost a while back.

Price Drop felt rather like Speed Auction in its dying days after Freeview carriage was lost. That was fun.

Shop at Bid was completely without merit.

Both channels had 'peaked' in terms of entertainment value quite some time ago.

They were practically dead in the last few weeks of broadcast anyway...

Listings seem to go up to 1:30am on Monday for Price Drop and 7:45 on Monday for Bid. I've been told however, that if I reset my box the channels should disappear.

Oh, make sure you don't reset the box then. You have something quite quite amazing there. What do you have on channel 442 and radio channel 0151?
