Great to see the Woodpecker sting on network tonight
And how lovely it is! Does anyone remember ever seeing it first time around? Makes you wonder what else was rarely/never shown.
And I take back what I previously said, seeing Paul's montage from the overnight footage shows that actually there is a half decent selection. Maybe it's just me being unlucky generally seeing Swan.
I wonder how much this is setting them back compared to what a new set of idents would cost, given how timeless and popular the classics are proving to be?
Does it cost anything to get clean copies of the idents without the 1997 branding? Will the BBC have them or will they have been sourced from Lambie-Nairn etc.?
The BBC had clean copies of the 1997 idents so they could make regional versions, so they presumably still have these.

If no one has notice BBC Scotland has been doing its own CA since 3pm this afternoon, Swam not appeared... Woodpecker just has, so Scotland deffo has not in regular playlist now.
The reason being Scotland needed to run 4-5min faster so a Ref YES broadcast could be made at 17.55.
