In other news That's Solent is apparently going to launch next Wednesday, it was originally meant to be on the air in June but got postponed. Apparently showing a coming soon trailer now.
We're busy getting ready for next week. The evening news will be longer at 24 minutes and feature a lot more content.
Within each show there'll be a news round up, but each night you'll also get a sports bulletin, as we know you love your local sports news.
There'll be the usual guest on the sofa, but each day will also feature more news packages: a chance for us to explore in depth the news story, and each day will see news features.
These include Big Questions to Little Kids (Tues); The Mayor's Going Where? (Fri) and What You Say? (Weds) plus each week (Weds) we'll be looking at issues affecting your area and putting the questions to those involved.
So tune in weekdays Monday to Friday at 5.30pm and then repeated again at 7.30pm for the new look news presented by Hugh Riches and the team.

That's very ambitious. Estuary TV will do a great job, in my opinion.

Do you think the Birmingham Station will go on air by the deadline? It seems quite harsh to only give them three months. I think it will just completely fail, or we'll have ssomething even worse than Sheffield Live! Which is bad quality at its worst.
Kaleidoscope TV....dont like the name. Having said that not really fan of many of the station names. Some are ok. Nottstv decent. Not a fan of LondonLive. Been there done that when BBCLDN was branded as such. MadeinTV.... Horrible. My opinion.

Bay TV Liverpool launches on December 8, can't say I'm a fan of the name, but I don't think there's much else better, you could have had Liverpool TV, but there's also currently Liverpool FC TV, so that would cause a bit of confusion.
