Yes - It is replacing the 08:45 UK time edition of World Business Report - a full half hour of business news from 08:30 UK time.

As above - it IS replacing an edition of World Business Report.

But this is the News Channel thread. So technically it isn't.

Disappointing? it's on brand and fits perfectly with other business bits and pieces they do.

A change to the background with a 'dawn' in London on BBC World for TWT slot most probably.

Well given World Business Report doesn't air on the News Channel except at 05:30, some three hours earlier, I would suggest that the question was referring to BBC World News.

Not seen them do this for a long long time - breaking news Aston over another report. They usually just use the ticker nowadays:

Seems to be a policy decision now if a major non-domestic story occurs the News channel throws to World immediately. Not sure whether this is ;compliant' with its remit.

World now leading the story from C on UK and World and Two with Adnam and Aaron.

BBC Two switched to a feed from C with no DOG or ticker, World and news channel still have both
