Looking at the picture, there's an awful lot of people with an awful lot of different schedules. Kate couldn't do immediately after the show, for example, because she'd be rushing off t0 Smooth. Sue would have been on location somewhere so couldn't have done it before the show. Ranvir quite often hosts the 'proper news', so she'd have been difficult to schedule...
They probably just took pictures of the team on a plain background so that they could electro-tamper should a picture like this need to be created. I'd imagine that's much easier.

Maybe GMB will come from the ITV News election studio, and it will be GMB is only name.
Having said that, redressing and recolouring the GMB set would make quite a good election set itself, with the ticker scroller, the desk, the sofa for interviews with politicians. Might have an issue with the studio being there and the news gathering being at ITN though.

The GMB studio would make an excellent Election Night studio, the desk would have to be completely removed though and replaced, as it would be far too small. I imagine GMB will come from the studio as per.
I think the lack of BBC Breakfast will push a lot of viewers over to GMB on the Friday.

In the press release though, it says "Presenters Susanna Reid and Tom Bradby will anchor the programme from the Good Morning Britain studio".
So either ITV's overnight coverage is in there too, or as I say - Tom is travelling over at some point.

Not sure that the studio being remote from the newsgathering operation is too big a deal these days - Elstree is a long way from BH and Milbank.
There was a year when TV-am and ITN did a joint Election special, with Robert Kee at Eggcup House and Martyn Lewis at ITN. I wonder if GMB could be doing something similar, mainly in their studio but taking contributions from the main ITN Election studio?

With regards to day-to-day Good Morning Britain we haven't had any programmes from the River Bank yet this year, obviously we hadn't this time last year as the show only launched a year next week but in this stunning weather I'd have expected a couple of opens to have come from the Bank. (&before anyone corrects me I did see the open from the top of the London Studios with Susanna and Piers Morgan last week!)

Has anyone else noticed how the Entertainment segments are being quietly shortened? This morning, the first segment didn't start until at least 6:53. On other days it's been 6:55, leaving 3 minutes for the actual segment. The ad break has been pushed back by a few minutes.
