Those idents are sponsored pres, not Christmas pres. They've been using the normal idents on other shows.

it still xmas idents, last year Ch5 had the snow flake and thats it, if thats the case. No DFS, TK mak, and other one.

Exactly. The snowflake one is the Christmas ident, not the one with the pink Christmas tree - that's a sponsored ident (a stupid concept IMHO, does any other channel do that?).

And this morning, Channel 5 launched their Christmas ident, kind of reminiscent of BBC Two though...

That is lovely.
It's nice to have a departure from the sound stage even if it's still ending with the screen. They could easily have a few versions with different music for different types of programme. That one seem a little somber imo.

Which one? If it's the same as the L'Oreal one used at 3:10pm today, that's been in use for months.

No, was used quite a bit, I didn't see it for a few weeks but I spotted it again last week.

which just means Im very unlucky.

I have to admit that I quite like that ident. Well done, Channel 5. Now if only Channel 4 could come up with something festive.

And I like Sprout boy on BBC One. Makes me smile and it feels festive. The recycled BBC Two idents however are not really doing it for me with that choir soundtrack.
