I do sometimes watch ITV2. Some of the programmes are better than anything that can be found on it's senior terrestrial partner. Why are people so upset about repeats? It's better than watching a blank screen isn't it? Not everyone has the chance to watch the programmes the first time round (we don't sit at our TV screens 24/7) so a chance to see something again is welcome, although most of ITV2's output is not really to my taste.
ITV2 - Why 24 hours?
It's unusual for me to defend ITV but ITV2 is a free to air channel (well except on Sky but that's a different matter...). It's not fair to compare it to other 24 hour channels like Sky One, which is fully funded by subscription as well as advertising so can afford to offer better quality viewing. Even then, not everyone is convinced that that channel does offer quality but we all have our tastes.I do sometimes watch ITV2.
