Good Morning Britain in 2020

Kate is the one presenter who ITV kept on throughout the change to Daybreak and the launch of GMB. On both shows her role increased after the launch and she is, again, a main presenter, and one of ITV Daytime’s best known faces.

Don’t forget she also presents her daily radio show, and is a mum... I’d guess she’s perfectly happy with her lot.

And if you want more evidence of how much ITV rate her, they put her in I’m a Celeb!

This has been said before, but I think Kate would be offended to be described as anything other than a "reputable and qualified" journalist, having worked her way through Central News, BBC News 24 and Sky News before 15 years on the various ITV Breakfast incarnations.

Now you may not enjoy her presenting style, but that's a completely different thing.
