Things like this have to be planned nowadays... it involved lots of template tweaks to make it work...

Now that shot has been used is it something that you can relatively easily re-use in future?


Yup - it's now in the standing top templates.

Does that mean there should be a "sitting bottom" template for the close Laughing

Media Boy, if the News channel or national bully's had to decamp to studio C for whatever reason, are the templates available through the internal network and could - say for argument sake, the standing top template from studio E be used in C? Or the World News Today templates be pulled up for use in E? (Trundle cam excused).

All templates have a 'local implementation' in all studios.
So if you had to move at the last minute then your templates would work.
In a DIsaster Recovery scenario the last thing you need is to be changing templates at the last min.

Did anyone spot the floor manager back on last night's Six? Even saw him cue Jane after the titles played.

I did. Was on the new shot people were mentioning (which was quite nice). Not sure if I liked the floor manager in shot though. At the time of viewing it seemed good, but thinking back, it's pretty cheap looking. Surely Jane has been at the Beeb long enough to know her cue, never mind showing her being cued on TV
