Or they could buy a tin of red paint, a Source 4 and a BBC Weather gobo and it will look almost exactly like before but be debradable in seconds.

I think Outside Source will be more about being in 'the worlds newsroom' rather than a studio.

Suppose so, does that podium light up in different colours?

Or maybe make a trilon with BBC Weather on one side, Outside Source on the next, and a glittery blue side to finish off. Jenny Powell could rotate it as required.

The BBC weather sign above the weather area on the trundle cam seems to have been pulled down leaving a bit of a mess behind - you'd think they would be hiding it on-camera until whatever they're up to is finished:

Is there not a second automated camera in the weather pit just left of this shot? Could that not be set to zoom and pan back from Studio E to above the weather camera?

Yes I heard that. Had to double-check it wasn't my computer but something definitely played out and wasn't from a report in the bulletin.

Jane Hill's ringtone? Was that the only instance of it happening?

It seems to clear to be a ringtone. Yes it only happened that once.

It is this song...

and it seems to be linked to the graphics actually (it's clearer on iPlayer, it happened at 22:11) than that YouTube clip. I wonder if that map graphic somehow had audio attached to it. I don't know how these things work but could it simply be the person preparing the map was listening to Sheryl Crow and the graphic somehow got rendered with that audio included?
