Thought they might have added more frosting on the glass to take eyes away from the screens in the back.
On a side note, no World Cup countdowns yet.

It's certainly brighter. They need to decide if they should use the BBC Sport yellow or the BBC News red though as using both of them together looks a bit of a mess.

Looks like a new desk as well - in style of Studio C/E given the reflection in that photo.

Looks a lot better, having a look in the photo you can see the desk is now fully yellow.

It does look a lot nicer now - except that odd red bit. I could understand having it there if it was yellow but it just looks odd otherwise.

I think it's gone from classy to a mess, to be honest.

New plasmas too. The previous ones had a larger frame.

I don't like the desk, looks like the one used for news watch. Would it kill them to get a matching desk.. I think it was the desk used for the Andrew Marr bulletins ( or one similar)

So much better! Thought I noticed this the other day, but couldn't find reference to it anywhere so thought perhaps it was an old change/ hadn't actually changed. Always thought they needed to brighten it, it was too dark and depressing!

Yeah it's much brighter and better, nice enhancement
