No, there is currently no known universe where this would happen.

It appears Channel 5 have updated the font used across their branding as seen on their website www.channel5.com

...and at the same time they've gone from uppercase to mixed case. Does this mean we'll see updated 5 News titles?

Not today by the looks of things. Will be interesting to see how long it takes them to align their on/off screen branding.

Well this is still on their site so God knows how long it could take them..

A poor example for a few reasons.

It is all a bit mix match. I hope Viacom work with Channel 5 on a proper rebrand when they eventually take over.

Gotham looked awful for their branding, not surprised they got rid of it so quickly. I expect a complete overhaul of the on screen look soon enough. They have a new font for the "Channel" part of their name and seem to be keeping the red 5 circle part... for now.

There;s quite a few examples o their website of old logos or quite out of date information still being given out. Will it ever be sorted?

I think they are slowly introducing a whole new look.

I think the font the are now using looks quite nice and much better than gotham but when the number 5 is typed which is necessarily the most important number for them it looks strange.

Remember we heard that Channel 5 had planned a rebrand for August is it possible that because of the delay until September we're getting it now or, like I said, are we maybe receiving it slowly prior to Viacom's full ownership?
