Why can't they just use TC10 from say like 10am-3pm and then 5.45pm - 7pm?

Not sure what you are saying...

TC10 does the CBBC on One (and Two?) links (certainly in the afternoon) - and presumably pre-recorded continuity for BBC Prime. There will be a requirement to rehearse all of these as well.

TC9 now does the CBBC channel continuity links.

This should be in the CBBC thread but i cant find it any where. I've flicked past the CBeebies channel while channel hopping and noticed that they have that disturbing DOG in the corner of the screen instead of their normal one. Can anyone fill me in?.

by disturbing do you mean the one with the clown? I find it creepy and don't see what it has to do with anything, mind you CBeebies has gone stranger every time I've tuned into it.

The bloody thing scared the life out of me one night when it suddenly popped up during a serious documentary about Hitler or some such on BBC Four.

The Clown is part of the "Circus Season". The usual set has been covered in what remeinds me of shredded holographic christmas paper.

Anyone have any idea when the studio is to return to normal? I saw the normal studio while channel hopping right at the end of Sunday Night's Bedtime hour, but I presume it's just a generic recording, because I checked the next afternoon and they were doing an OB complete with Clown DOG.

I think the ciricus season is for the summer on the Cbeebies channel though at weekends I've seen a white set with one or two props to give the idea of a living room with the girl who was one of the Teletubbies I believe.

Xchange are down at Riverside Studios for August. The show's format seems to have been changed for the duration - 4 children in two groups for some games (8 children in total) with Xperts and a filmed segment.

Steve Wilson mentioned he did his last programme today - where's he off to then? He seemed quite a genuine soul on air, interested in the kids and seemed to know how the games worked. Thought he was pretty good in the role. Does this mean new presenters are on the way - Rhodri Owen used to be on the team but I don't recall him being replaced. Jean Anderson replaced Holly Willoughby so does this mean the team of presenters is now two down?

My sister just had the CBBC Channel on then and they said they had came out of the BP Garden due to weather, however when they were in the Blue Peter Garden it was Barney and Sohpie and then in the studio it was Jemma and Anne. So was that a quick broadcast from the CBBC One studio right after they had gone off BBC Two?

Interesting, if they did come from TC10, the new set for CBBC in there is very similar to the old Studio 9 set.

If they were in TC10, then this surely means that work is going on in Studio 9, doesn't it?
Either technical or creating a new set for the channel, I think it's only fair, especially the amount of times that the CBBC One/Two set has changed, even if they were minor changes.

Can anyone explain to me the reasons of them moving CBBC One/Two out of Studio 9 rather than the CBBC Channel just moving from TC2 to TC10?

I thought TC10 was the CSO set... used when the N24 set was being revamped.

Well if Studio 9 is bigger then 10 then maybe they think it will be better for the Channel, plus they have that Ramp that goes to the garden which i don't think 10 has?
