No mention of the problem with The Wright Stuff here. Show didn't start till 9.45 due to a bomb alert. There was no live continuity at 9.15, so they used the Milkshake presenter to announce there was a problem, it reminded me of the days of the CBBC broom cupboard into Neighbours. Coincidentally Harold Bishop was on the Wright Stuff as guest.


Interesting use of the milkshake presenter. Did they end milkshake & they then came back, or did they fill with milkshake programmes?


No, it was the Milkshake presenters voice over the ident.

Have to say I really like the new style trailers, especially the ones currently airing for Rambo and Neighbours.

Incidentally, does anyone know when Matthew Wright is returning to The Wright Stuff? He's been absent for three weeks.

He's had an operation (on his back I think) so he is going to be away from the programme for a little while.

Ooh, I don't like that ident! The only themed idents I haven't liked so far are the Hotel Inspector Ident and the one posted above. Otherwise, they've been quite nice. I particularly liked the one with the multiple screens.

By going from what Hardeep had been saying in the latter half of the week Matthew should be back on Monday. He's had near enough 4 weeks off, with Kaye Adams, Andrew Castle, Nihal and Hardeep Singh-Kolhi covering, in my opinion Andrew was the best cover.

Thanks. The show has remarkably improved since Matthew returned. Nihal and Hardeep treated everything like a joke. Rolling Eyes

It's a shame they don't get Richard Bacon to guest host anymore, he always got it right.

Some of those are really bad... Out of the ones shown there, the final version is by far the best - well, the least-worst.
