there seems to be a lack of business news on sky as I hardly see a business presenter on sky news anymore (unless they are presenting the news itself). Do they just do it during the working hours? News 24 seem to do it all the time!

Sky News only have business news every now and then!
sometimes the have it twice an hours then it will dissapear for the rest of the day - Bring back 'Your Money' and the 8:30pm business news bit cant remember what it is call (like that will happen )

it should be on as often as the sport because that goes on throughout the night and if they are competing with news 24, they have to have more business in my opinion!
Or are they just news, news, news, a bit of sport, news, news etc...
Oh, I think there's just about enough on Sky News, really.. it covers all the big stories, anyway.
After all, there is Bloomberg and CNBC, plus lots of buisness news on the other news channels. Especially CNN International, it's getting a bit crazy there, seems like every week they're adding another buisness programme to the schedule, it's slowly turning into CNNfn!!

Do either of you watch Sky News during the day? I've seen Michael Wilson twice every hour today, except for when they had live coverage of Illustrious returning and a Commons statement.
Anyway if you can't get enough Business on Sky News tune to CNBC or Bloomberg.

Sky dramatically cut their Business Department, during the re-launch, but news active has business news and during the day and main bulletins, they usually have either a business update, or a business report at the newswall.

i work during the day usually so I don't see it much and who is the other business presenter on sky news (ie not juliette or David... I think it's heather something !)

Heather Scott, although haven't seen her for a while. Michael Wilson is Business Editor both David Foster and Juliette Foster are classed as Business presenters.

The buisness department of sky news was axed with the new look as a cost cutting measure, not difficult to understand why with the likes of CNBC and bloomberg catering for your buisness needs already. Sky mostly reliey on the partnerships with Bloomberg and Fox News's Business departments, for there Business news.
Yes, News 24 have business updates twice an hour every hour, and even sometimes have a short update during the night from Patrick O'Connell in New York! They also have World Business Report at 0030, 0230, 0345, 0530, and Business Today at 2030 with Nils Blythe. BBC World is the best for the business news, they have about 12 WBRs every day, as well as a 5 min update during BBC World News! On a presentation front, I think News 24 should have a Business sting, as BBC World's works very well, and looks professional.

I don't want to be the one who starts another BBC News debate etc, but to do with business bullitins why do they not have them on the BBC National/Regional bullitins on BBC One? They're on Breakfast, but that's it! I would like to see some sort of Business goings on, on BBC national news e.g. the markers or currencies! I like to keep up to date you see Anyone else agree? I suppose the same applies to ITN on ITV!
