Earlier in the show, they had a journalist from the Telegraph who raised the point that they had various issues with the ASA and the internet was partially to blame.

Yes, it was Harry Wallop - known for his particularly uninsightful documentaries on retail.

His 'investigation' into Poundland was a low point for Dispatches.

I saw this bit live as it happened.

Chris Rhodes was becoming my favorite host and then he left!

Since Bid and Price Drop are still broadcasting and appearing on the EPG, I can only assume they have paid for their bandwidth and other associated costs in advance. As it is KMPG's job to maximise the value of the Bid Shopping assets, it surprises me that they have't used the airtime for something. Why aren't they selling the already paid for airtime to Accurate Teleshopping or JML or someone?

Apparently they've already been removed from Virgin and Freesat. Not sure about Sky yet.

Still on Sky Digital.

On the remaining platforms (Sky, Freeview, etc.), viewers should be notified of Bid and Price-Drop's closure.

Have they refunded purchases yet?

Many of the users of the ShoppingTelly.com forum are incredibly rude. They tend to find pleasure in insulting and disparaging presenters about their looks.

Their spy would have copied and pasted that over there by now!

According to Sky policy:
Sky EPG fees are, it would appear, paid for monthly in advance. These appear not to be refunded if you transfer an EPG place to somebody else partway through the month.
28 days notice is ideally needed to Sky to reuse an EPG vacated by another broadcaster.

Under that arrangement, it's probably not worth selling it to somebody else, as by the time notice has been given and granted, you're only going to get two or three days out of it anyway.

I dare say, depending on when the invoice was last paid to Sky, channels 645 and 654 will be gone by the middle of May, or possibly towards the back end of the month.
