From what I've seen, all the pre-recorded weather updates are from the green screen room.
So do they film the pre-recorded weather forecasts in there or out on the balcony

There are 2 Green Screen Studios - are they next to each other or is the other one the other side. Also aren't these Studios supposed to be changeable from Green to Blue or is one Green, one Blue or have I just made that up?
Looks like the green screen studio is situated behind that wall that says 'BBC Weather'

I think they are interchangeable.

I remember from watching some of this year's BBC News School Report when it came from TC7, they had a small interview with Chris Fawkes in Broadcasting House at the BBC Weather Centre who talked about how the bulletins are put together and he went into a studio behind the sign and showed us on the control pad a switch that changes the colour from green to blue. Can someone comfirm for me that the technology used is LED based as that is what it seems? Many thanks.

I also noticed during Impact that there were some stains or scratches on the floor of Studio B. Not sure if its been cleaned up now.
Watching Newsnight now and the coffee table desk in Studio B has seen some wear and tear in a relatively short amount of time - the bottom part of it is clearly scratched and quite badly damaged.

Is that the table that moves up and down for each show? If it is then its understandable that it has scratches on it because its being constantly moved up and down

No it was the table on the other side of the studio, which all of Impact is presented from - they replace it with the Sunday Politics table when they're in Studio B on a Sunday.
