I don't think they're actually out of date are they? The sports graphics haven't really changed since the move to Salford. If these promo graphics are out of date - where are examples of the new ones?

2 years out of date I think, they've been using this style and font since at least the lead up to the Olympics.

Things like this have to be planned nowadays... it involved lots of template tweaks to make it work...

Now that shot has been used is it something that you can relatively easily re-use in future?

There was a nice shot at about 12:10 today. It was seen coming out of the correspondent on the left and then handing over to Norman Smith as the camera swept towards the right. Tried to upload a video but doesn't seem to be working for some reason.

I really like the look of Studios E and C when the cameras aren't in shot. To me it makes the set look cluttered.

Yup - it's now in the standing top templates.

Ooh, that's a much nicer move when there's a standing presenter compared to before, where a camera usually blocked out the standing presenter anyway.

Interesting if you were watching this morning for the GDP news conference at 0930. Thought was strange that Emma Simpson hogged the questioning ....
