Ooh, that is a very good call. Then again having seen her on their latest app advert I'm not sure Holly Willoughby can play Holly Willoughby.

How about James O'Brien? He has that similar kind of combatitive & provocative approach as Piers and would certainly create the talking points.

They're both great on the radio, but neither James o'Brien or Nick Ferrari are very good on the telly. There's a few long serving radio presenters like that, Chris Moyles and Ken Bruce being good examples.... they just never look comfortable on telly

Can we please refrain from any more fantasy rota/presenter posts, and keep discussion to vaguely presentation related.

ITV may hold out and have Charlotte Hawkins or Ranvir Singh on an interim basis and even drop Susanna Reid once her contract runs out and start a fresh (again). Hawkins and Singh are already there on Piers’ days but present the full show from 6-9am. Reid is associated with Piers, his nodding sidekick.

Going back to presentation - the desk to me looks horrible. I wish they would replace it.

He’d be awful, because
- He’s pretty dull and grumpy almost all the time
- His views aren’t those that would counteract Susanna’s and create the same attraction that the P and S combination brought to the show. Really they need someone a bit ‘less liberal’ than Susanna, e.g. Eamonn Holmes, Richard Madeley
